if you need a bat now, I would advise picking somebody else up, I don't know how quickly dye will get back to form, or if he will stay healthy, and in interleague play against pitchers he's not familiar with, he could have problems, also remember how well eric byrnes is playing for oakland, so they might not throw dye back in there every day
