How will Sammy respond to his inevitable suspention and bad press about his corked bat? An owner in my fantasy league has soured on Sammy and also with Brian Lawrence. He has expressed interest in Luis Gonzalez and Aaron Cook in return. Will Sammy better Gonzo's #'s from here out? And will Brian Lawrence get a little more consistant?

I like Lawrence but playing for San Diego he will hurt for wins.....
His era is a bit high but has a good WHIP...

Cook stinks...If it were me, I'd get Sosa and Lawrence....

Sosa even though he is struggling still has a higher OBP% than Gonzo.....

Just remember, you will not have Sosa for a week or 2 due to suspension.....

If you can, make the trade after the suspension so you can keep Gonzo's #'s or at least make a deal to trade in the middle of the suspension....

sammy is gonna rebound from this, he has been horrendous since being hit in the head, evidenced by his flinching on every breaking pitch that appears to be heading at his head, I would much rather have sosa and lawrence if you can get them for gonzalez and cook, especially if you have a decent outfielder to plug in there until sosa's suspension is up, the suspension will give him time to get back to sitting in there against hard fastballs and breaking balls and gain his confidence back, expect a great end of the season for sammy
