Bummer, Ray!:(
It's been the same out here in the East. And I've been saying the exact same thing..... longing for some sun and to actually sit at a day game in the sun and warmth, watching baseball, having a beer. :hmm: Rain and cold. It sucks.
Finally today we have some sun and warm weather, but it's been a long time coming, and we'll see rain this weekend. :(
Just commiserating. :itsok:

there MIGHT be a window to get in todays game. of about 2 hours or so. and the rest of the time it will be light showers.
i just dont want tomorrows game affected. so far, it looks like tomorrow will be alright. but we all know how correct the weather people are.
we had one warm day this week, and i got badly sunburned again from counting cars in the sun. my neck is totally red, as is my nose.
and sunday nights ESPN game? they are calling for storms on sunday...
when will summer arrive?

So I'm wondering if Wells will start tomorrows game and push Clemens back or if Torre will still start Clemens:umm
Fox is gonna be pissed if Clemens isnt the starter.....
Although it would be good for the ESPN Sunday night game....
For that matter will Wood be pushed back as well??
I would think him and Clemens would both be pushed back...

It feels like it's rained here for 4 weeks straight. Sure it was nice today but I was at work! By now I would have been at the beach at least 4 times.
And it's gonna rain again tomorrow :( If I don't get some sun on this skin before I leave for Vegas on Thursday you might as well send me with a pound of bacon. Because I'm gonna fry like an egg (get it? an egg with a side of bacon ;)) in the Nevada sun!!!

This weather in New York has really been bad. As most here know, I work out at Shea Stadium in the concessiuons department. Luckily I am not one of the vendors who has to walk around selling different food items. I am always in a stand selling whatever items that stand sells. Anyway, We have to be in to work 3 hours before game time. This past Tuesday they had us in, and the game was called after 6PM; Wednesday we came in again, and after 6PM, they had us set up our stands and they(the Mets) let the crowds in just to jerk the fans around. They ended up calling the game at around 9:25PM.
And to top all this off, when the Mets end up playing a doubleheader, they lose.
I can just see it now, I get to Shea Stadium tonight, we sell the food, the game is cancelled at 9 something, and another doubleheader loss tomorrow

According to NY Newsday yesterday Long Island has had....6 days of sun, 12 days of cloudy weather and 15 days of rain in a little over a month. It's June for christs sake and you can still see your breath at night!!!!
