So did anyone see the Meteor Shower??

I set my alarm for 4:15am (of course I snoozed it a couple of times and didn't finally get out of bed til 4:45am)

My neighbor and I went to the beach with my dog, Polly, where we saw a whole bunch of other people stargazing :uhoh: (I was shocked! not a normal sight in Brooklyn at 5am!)

but OMG, it was SPECTACULAR!!!!:uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: WOW!!

it was like the sky was just a hundred feet above us, and the stars were so big and close and bright....... and the falling stars were magnificent!!! never seen anything like that before in my life!!! It was MAGIC!!! I made so many wishes..... then I ran out!!

It was so cloudy that morning down here I couldn't see a thing.....I asked a few people and they all said it was too cloudy for them as welll...
What a bummer.....

I do admit, however, the sight was unforgettable..
