Under the file, "Where Have I Been", you can put The Sandlot. WHERE HAVE I BEEN THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE NOW?!?!?!
I saw it the other night. It was fabulous!!!! Man. I would love to own this movie.
And I know there are other teams represented on this board, but I just have to say that the actor playing Benny (the kind of leader of the guys) reminded me so much of what Mike Piazza would have looked like at that age. Yikes! Whatever happened to this guy, anyway? He'd be about 21 now, I think? He was pretty good, too!
So, has everybody else seen this movie? Isn't it a great flick?!?!?
Anyone? Anyone?

Unfortunately, as great as this movie is, I refuse to ever watch it again

It's my favorite baseball movie. :) Now, I'll admit that when I first saw it, it was all about BENNY. (hehe) But overall I simply adore this movie.

James, I'm glad you asked, because I was thinking it was because I made that reference to Mike Piazza, and now I had ruined the movie for Shawn..... (me, me, me... it's all about me.:hmm: )
But, now, this has made me sad. I'm so sorry, Shawn. I know that feeling of something having associations with people we've cared about... :ohno:
Cyn, I think you'll love it. It does have a happy ending. It's a very whimsical, nostalgic movie.:)
