Don't know how anyone can mark their ballots for either a cartoon or the best damn manager in baseball ... Torre voters are no better than George Steinbrenner himself, that knee-jerk-reactionary with a only 0.00000000001 miligrams of brain matter and only half that much patience ... In fact, we should DQ George from all of these because he would probably win every time.

No, going into this season he has a lifetime record of 1579-1448....

A winning % of .522

He was only 3 games under .500 as the Cards manager and he actually had a decent record with Atlanta--257-229...

His lifetime record is hurt due to the fact that he was the Mets manager in the late 70's and early 80's...

Being the Mets manager will do that to you, ya know:D
