HELP!!!
I gotta find me a football team to get excited about. I mean, I'll always love my Vikings, but it's just so painful to watch them this season..... last night, against Chicago.... yikes. They just look lost. Aaaaaaargh.
So, who should I root for. I may choose Da Bears. Their coach looks like Mike Bordick.... when he (the coach) has his hat on. Now, isn't that a good enough reason to root for a football team? :P
(I know what Cyn is going to reply to this. It'll be one of these: :hmm: Or one of these::freak: or one of these::ummm: )

The Steelers play the Vikings this weekend... then the jets i believe the weekend after that...
and Yes Cyn, I believe that they are very much for real. They have shown the past couple of weeks that even if you stop the running game, they will beat you in the air... if you stop the defense, they will beat you on offense. I haven't had this much fun watching steeler football since 1995.

jets?? You MUST be kidding cyn... haha...
The steelers will run over, around, and throw the jets as soon as they dispose of the vikings..:):):)
Only thing I like about the Jets is Curtis Martin... but that is because he is a local dude who I used to hang out with because he was the neighbor of my best friend when he was in college.

you mean he's geeky in person??:ohno:
We should have kept the guy in New England.
A classy guy with a top-notch competetive drive.
Not to mention, he's got the best abs I've ever seen.
Oh, and in relation to football, I like the Steelers a lot this year.. as long as Kordell limits his mistakes, he remains a duel threat (on the ground or in the air).
And The Bus is one helluva motor.
As for the Jets, I think the high-flying Pats with ground them this up-coming Sunday.

Curtis Martin actually has an amazing story. He grew up poor.. in the slums... and even was shot at while in HS...
That is what the thing is about kordell. He has now gone 155 attempts without throwing an INT... He has 4 on the season. 2 in the opening game against Jax.. one bounced of his receivers hands.. and th eother was the last play of the game... And 2 against TB... on bouncing of a receivers hands.. That means that 2 have been the receiver's fault more than anything.. and the other two proved to be meaningless...
BUT...
The past 5 games or so, he has begun to do a lot more than just "not make mistakes." He is carrying this team. They have shown that there are so many ways that they can beat you that it is amazing. In a radio interview this morning, Merril Hoge of ESPN predicted that the Steelers woud run for 300 yards this weekend on the viking's D.... he says they have no desire... no will... and no work ethic...
I am SO pumped....
