Hello ladies & gentlemen!
It just so happened that in pulling (another) non-productive all-nighter, that I decided to see how my good o'l sleeperpick.. eh.. hyperbaseball.. doh.. addict sports' pals were doin'. And well, although I hate to say it (snicker), this place has become devastatingly dull without my humble presense! ;)
Group hug, anyone?
Ahhh, much better.
*As I feel a tiny poke against my left (lower) "cheek," I turn to see Shawn, who's sporting a school-girl smile. He then winks, in an attempt to portray his pathetic self as a suave, capable heterosexual member of society.*
Happy to see me, huh, pal? ;)
Anyway, life's been decent for myself.
Although I've found myself digging aimlessly for any remaining scraps of ambition of late, I've still managed to remain a college student. I was working full-time as a Loss Prevention Detective as well, up until we had a manager change, leaving an insane twinkie addict at the helm.
With work ending at midnight and being unable to return to school until 1 am, I decided to screw the job and put all my effort and attention to procrastinating on a full time basis.
The plan's been going well.
My car sucks. It uses up oil faster that my father finishes his prescription of Viagra pills (now stronger than ever!). Last month I was forced to have it towed and eventually replace the radiator... costing me around 700 dollars, not including the new rear shocks I just had installed.
No long-distance rides for me in the near future..
Going home for Thanksgiving was, um, well.. interesting. Only God knows how such a dysfunctional family was able to produce a somewhat capable and fully-functioning human being such as myself. In all honesty, 10 minutes could not tick off the clock without a fight of sometime, mainly involving either two of my (moody) sisters or my parents.
And if that wasn't enough, during a family gathering on Sunday, I was forced to endure a conversation dealing with the subject of inter-racial dating (all 3 of my sisters have dated men of minority status) among the world's most ignorant people. I can't wait to get away some wonderful day.
Thank God for the open-mindedness of my mother.
Luckily, I was able to escape the madness and scoot off to the gym.
When I returned, everyone was gone.
Amen.
Speaking of which, I've been attending a Methodist church in Brockton, Massachussets (near my college), which is quite different to the Episcopal church I grew up attending. These people dance, clap, and shout - haha, which is hilarious considering that when I was a kid, I was slapped for making the slightest peep. I was taught to keep my hands folded, to keep my ass on the pew, and to shut the hell up.
Well, that's not the case here.. ;)
Hmmm, what else?
Oh yeah, the Red Sox better make some moves this off-season.. hold on, let me correct myself. They better make some intelligent moves this offseason, or they're going to be dealing with one pissed off fan.
The Yanks are snagging Giambi?
Unbelieveable.
I can think of plenty more to say, but nothing of outstanding interest.
But I'm truly interested in what's going on with you guys.
Give me the scoop!

Cyn, if you decide to reply to this forum and update me on your petty existance, please refrain from the following:
Oh!!!!! And I've gotten my hair done and its a totally different color!! Woohooo! It looks great!!! Oh, and blah, blah, blah, blah!!!
:) :uhoh:
Please type coherently. ;)
Oh, and Shawn.. please exclude yourself from this post. No need to drag me into your "life" of slow-pitch softball, middle-aged (and over-the-hill) dating prospects, or how you've discovered that toilet paper isn't truly a neccessity.
Man, I love you guys. :)
