I just recieved an email from my HR dept. about a new tax, "the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003". What the hell is that? And is it going to a huge deduction from my paycheck? :umm

Man, I need to make more money.

That was the new Bush tax cut plan, which must be applied by your employer before July 1. Chances are pretty good your Federal Income Tax deduction will be smaller in your next check, depending on how much you make and what status you are claiming. I am claiming single with zero exemptions, and my biweekly check went up $27.

I c, ok, I was confused, cuz I thought it will be MORE money out of my check, I didnt know it was LESS. Less is always good. =)

Umm, ok, Ill let you know how much check looks like on friday. Its funny, its sooo different from when I was younger. I couldnt wait til payday. And think about all the things that I would buy and stuff. Now, when I get paid, it just reminds me of the bills that I have to pay...hehe :D

Bob, I don't even care about pay day anymore. My wife handles all the expenses. My check goes directly into our checking account, and she pays all the bills. I assume there is money there...hell, there's money available every time I go to the ATM and my credit cards have not been rejected.

:notme:

:D :D

:D My husband is the same way. He doesn't even have an ATM card. He gets an allowance.

Last time he had an ATM card, he went to Foxwoods and emptied our account.

I took over then.
