I just cut the knuckle of my right-hand index finger while washing dishes and washing out a stupid can with the opened lid still attached. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I was using a brush, and I was looking at this lid with the sharp edges, thinking, "I really shouldn't be doing this. I should at least take that thing fully off the can." No sooner than I thought that, than I sliced my finger. :angry:

So much blood. My knees get weak when I see so much blood coming out of a cut... that's on me.... yech.

I pressed a paper towel to it... then managed to get a sterile gauze pad on it, and taped it really tight to hold the cut closed.

Damn that's going to hurt in the morning.:angry:

I'm holding it stiffly out... can't bend it. But I can still type!:P

Nanner, what were you doing, washing dishes and washing out a stupid can, when you should have been down at Chelsea Piers tonight to see Robin Ventura, Mike Piazza, John Franco, and many other ball players taking part in Robin's Bowl-a-Thon? It was open to the public. I would have gone if I knew prior to tonight at 5:50pm that it was open to the public.

It was kind of stiff and sore the next day, then it was all red and icky the day after that. Now, the cut seems to be healing really well. But, yeow. Who could think that the edge of a can lid could be that sharp!!!
