Wow ... simply amazing. Without that catch, we lose to a terrible Indians team ... with that catch, hopefully we can go on a roll after two very nice wins.

And by the way ... he also came through with a clutch single to get us within one run.

To think some people are ready to ship him out of town ASAP ...

Tim Kurkjian called it the play of the year by an outfielder ... hell, it's the play of the century for me. ;)

Honestly, I can't remember the last time a catch was that spectacular and that meaningful.

Didn't see it but heard the call on Pirate radio network out of St. Mary's while at camp this weekend. The ovation when Giles came off the field was the most noise I've heard from a Pirate crowd in some time. And it was a sell out at that.

A very good catch? That was a great catch. I crapped my pants when I saw that catch. It was like that catch in Angels in the outfield where the angels pick up Matthew McConouhey? and carry him.
