Suppan tosses complete game shutout. Matt Stairs is on fire.

What do we do with Stairs if some team offers a decent package for him? Keep him or send him out of town? I could go either way on this one.

I would trade Stairs to a contender. Ditto for Sanders. I'd take decent prospects for either. Or cash. I'd play Craig and JJ Davis in RF. Davis is putting up good numbers in Nashville and may well be ready for next year.

Yeah, Davis is having a darn good year at Nashville power wise ... batting average and OBP still leaves a lot to be desired though.
He does seem to be improving his K/BB ratio, so that's good. Don't know if he'll ever make it ... I see a lot of similarities between him and Hermansen.

If Lofton is traded, I'd look for (and hope) Alvarez or Barnes brought up to play some CF ... Alvarez may be too big for CF, but I don't think Giles would be too big on moving to CF so a rookie can take his spot.

A lot will be decided in this crucial 25 game stretch ... if the Pirates can play five or six games above .500 during the stretch against NL central opponents, they'll be back in the mix for the division ... but if all they do is play .500 ball, I'd think DL would trade Sanders, Lofton, Suppan or D'Amico, Williams, Sauerbeck, Stairs, etc .... hell, maybe even Reboulet.
