there are a lot of rumors going around that jeromy burnitz is on his way to the mets for glendon rusch and matt lawton. this must be a salary dump for the brewers (and will relieve about 110 strikeouts from their painfully high total- hey if rod carew can't teach you make contact, you may as well hire rob deer, cause your in deep 'ca ca'). as a cards fan tresspassing on the brewers board (i am currently shaking in fear of the retribution from ALL those brewers fans out there) i would love to see lawton in a cardinals uniform, but after getting absolutley heisted on the joe mcewing-jesse orosco (how old is he now?) trade, i think jocketty lives in fear of steve phillips. just a thought to try and get SOMETHING on this board (with apologies to mr. mears)
