Here the deal. I'm in a 8 team league and we only have one DL spot and alot of the players that go on the DL ends up being drop and Josh Beckett who just came off the DL pitched a complate game holding the Braves to one run tonight. Witch is a very good outting.

And it has gotten me thinking is he worth picking up but the only pitcher I have to drop is Matt Clement who I have been holding on to on my bench to wait and see if he comes around at some point and I happen to have a very strong pitching staff and I could do without the posable strike Outs that Clement would give me if I played him.Something I haven't done yet.

So I'm asking do you think it would be worth droping Clement to pick up Beckett?

Beckett at one point was the top major league prospect, before he was called up. I would take a chance on him.

OK, this is not taking a chance, I can't believe that beckett is even out there, if he hadn't had blister problems and a manager who worked his starters too hard, he would have been the rookie of the year last year and probably contending for cy young this year, he's better than dontrelle willis, and I'm sure he's not sitting on the free agent list in your league

When healthy, you should net the same amount of strikouts with Josh as you would with Matt.
