Duckboy,
Why in the world do you think the Ducks are worthy of a top 25 position? They were 7-6 last year, (3-5 in conference), lost 6 of their last 7, including losing the last 4 by a combined 157-76.
You lost your best offensive threat in Onterrio Smith, and while your front 7 on defense is pretty good, your secondary is atrocious, returning 3 starters who ranked 115th against the pass last year.
I'm rather surprised anyone could suggest that this is a top 25 caliber team, at least going into the season.

I find it quite funny that Pitt is in the top 10.
(Sorry Shawn, had to say it. :D )

It is sad to look at that list and not see the Huskers on it. But on the bright side I think that list will have Wyomings name on it in two to three years...:clap2: :clap2:

I say the Huskers can make it on there this yera... IF Jamal plays up to his potential or if Daly can step it up in his place... the rest of the team is pretty good

I'm just joking around. It strange to see the Duck's not listed and the Beavers up there.
I don't think Oregon will have a good team, unless somebody steps up at QB. I will say they do have a great coaching staff, and used to be constantly picked low in the Pac 10, only to find themselves rated in the top 25 by the end of the season.
Never turn your back on an ornery Duck! :D

As a Miami fan, seeing Oklahoma #1 is nothing new. Maybe if they could beat Oklamoma State, I would take them more seriously. Two losses and one close call in the last three years!
