Just to keep the soccer fans updated. Obviously, this guy is not seen as the replacement for David Beckham, and is pretty much an unknown quantity. Talks are continuing with Ronaldinho and his agent, but nothing is concrete as of yet.

Manchester United have secured the signing of midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba on a five-year contract in a deal worth around £3,500,000.
The Reds on Thursday agreed the fee for the Cameroon international's transfer from French club Nantes. An additional £700,000 will be paid depending on appearances.

Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "Eric is a young player we've watched throughout the season, and he's impressed us each time with his understanding of the game.

"He's quick, aggressive and a good passer of the ball, and is the kind of athletic footballer we are looking for.

"In the last few months he has shown his development playing in a very good Cameroon team, and he looks like a Manchester United player in every sense."

Djemba-Djemba added: "This is a very proud moment for me. Ever since I was a teenager it has been my dream to play for Manchester United.

"If the club is signing me it is because they really believe in me. I am here to learn and to work hard, and I cannot wait for the new season to start."

Djemba-Djemba joins fellow new-boy David Bellion at Old Trafford.
