2 questions do u think the closers like mcdougal looper beck and urbina can keep up what they are doin???
And which are the best chances of keepin it up?
And do u think larry walker or bobby abreu will have the better second half?

I think MacDougal and Looper have a better chance than Beck and Urbina. Mainly because I think mac and Looper are on the better teams.
I think Walker and Abreu will have better second halfs. Both had a decent first half and should turn it up a notch after the all star game.

I believe MacDougal and Urbina are the best two.
Urbina will likely be dealt to a contending team soon, thus increasing his value.
MacDougal has a handle on his job, but has more competition waiting to take his job.
I'm guessing Abreu will have a solid second half when his teamates perform up to expectations. Walkers still an injury risk.

Walker and Abreu will both put up stellar second halfs barring injury
as for the closers, Urbina is the biggest risk in my opinion, if and when he gets dealt, like Fullabull said, it will be to a contender, but more than likely, it will be in a setup role and he will lose his save opps
I really like Looper and I have since his Wichita State days, he has been solid and will get plenty of opportunities with the Fish playing so well
I'm still not completely sold on MacDougal, I think his history of wildness could flare up at any time and I just don't think the Royals are that good, I think they will fade in the end and so will MacDougal's save opps
I really like Beck at this point, he has been great so far for San Diego and is in no danger of losing his job unless he hits very hard times

The rumor is;
The NY Mets will trade Benitez to Florida for Braden Looper.
I just read that somewhere.:hmm:
