If we win, we're 3.5 up and we leave the series with momentum. If we lose, we're 1.5 up and stand a chance at losing first place going into Anaheim and Oakland (unless the rotation changed from when i last checked, the A's will be throwing Hudson, Zito, and Mulder).

wasn't there a possible rumour trade a week or two ago, that juan gonzalez would go to ny yankees for weaver and other players, and weaver would then be traded to Boston???? hope not.

but im happy he's pitching, we'll win hopefully.

I've heard Juan Gone for Weaver, but Boston wasn't involved in it. The only Weaver related trade that I heard Boston's name in was the Benitez/Weaver three-way deal, which obviously didn't happen.
