The Dmitri Young Era begins. Well, at least, the Juan Encarnacion Era is over. The kid has great tools, but just never progressed. I hope he does well in Cincinnati.
As for Young, I think he's a pretty good fit for Comerica Park, although a bit slow. Unless he stays in the OF (RF would seem to be the open spot), he becomes yet another player to the crowded 1B/DH crop.
Overall, I approve of this deal. I know Dombrowski sleeps better getting my approval.
