My compueter is locking up sorta, I can still type, and do stuff, but it is 100X slower than normal. Like right now when I am typing, the words are coming up on the screen about 30 seconds after I type them.

I have restarted like 5 times in the past two days and it still doesn't work.

Does any one know what is wrong? Have you had this berfore? Any help is appreciated, thanks, and write now, the only words I can see is up to "My computer is loking up sorta"

That can mean a numerous things. HD is about to die, your ram is dieing. I would try to test the ram first. If you have more than 1 stick of ram in there, take one out. If its still the same reaction, then swap out for the other stick of ram. Thats my only advice that I have for now. :notme:

this happens every once in a while to me but it takes like 5 secs to pop up

It happens to me occasionally, but goes away after a while. Maybe turn off the computer and let it sleep. :notme:




Hey, things could be worse. I had no computer whatsoever for 26 friggin hours!!! Little thing called electricity.......

do ya shut your computer off every day? When i didnt shut it off every day, it had your problems. now that I do. No Probs whatsoever.

turn it off using the turn of comp button not the button on the case

Weell, first off, G-man, talik in ENGLISH!!!

Second, I usually let my computer sleep every night. But the past two days I have not done this, but the prole started like 5 days ago, or maybe 4.

I am. What i mean is shut it down by going to the start menu > shut down. Understand?
