The Reds placed outfielder Adam Dunn on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a sprained left thumb. Dunn suffered the injury while attempting to make a diving catch during Friday’s game against the Astros. He stayed in the game and connected on a two-run game-winning home run in the 10th inning. The hand was placed in a soft cast on Saturday and he will have the injury re-evaluated in two weeks. Dunn is leading the Reds with 27 homers this year.
