Boy am I tired...who would have thought that going to a golf tournament would be so freakin exhausting!
Ok, to quickly sum up the week:
Monday: spotted tiger going up the 14th fairway, ran to 15th hole to get a few pics and just see him...when he finished 15 the mass of lunatic fans ran to 16...I went to 18 and waited for him right by the green....do these people really think their going to see him if their following him? All your gonna see is the person's back in front of you. Rest of day spent walking around watching other golfers, getting autographs..getting hit on by Swedish Golfer fredrick Jacobson (pronounced Yacobson) Little cutey, got his autograph earlier and when he came through again, i said "I already have your" and he smiled and winked and said "I know".. After that Bobby refered to him as my boyfriend!
Tuesday: Watched Tiger play a few holes, tried to get autograph but these people are freakin lunatics..then scoped out where we wanted to watch the tournament..hole 11 was the winner...you could see the 6th's tee and green, the 10th's green, the 12's tee and if you turned around the 9th's fairway and green. Got a bunch of Autographs at 11...these guys are so sweet. hell I had conversations with most of them..real conversations!
Wednesday: Decided that I would not be part of the lunatic crowd and follow Tiger nor try to get his autograph...seriously feel sorry for the guy, he can't go anywhere without getting mugged...saw on the news that night that he was signing and was planning to sign for awhile until some asshole kid jumped right in his face. he put his cap on his marker and that was it...don't blame him a little bit! Went to hole 11 and got more autographs! Billy Andrade came up and I had a real nice chat with him ...if you missed it, see my My big mouth thread...me and Billy are real tight now! Jen...got David Duval's autograph..will scan and email it to you tomorrow. Took 10 rolls of pictures between Monday-Wednesday and got 90 autographs...yes I have the Winners!!! Oh yeah, my "Boyfriend" found me on 11 and gave me his autograph again...told me he knew I had it already but I was special and then leaned over and kissed me on the cheek...Bobby couldn't stop laughing..said I could run off to Sweden with him as long as I sent money home. Padrig Harrington apparently liked me too because of all the people asking for his autograph, he pointed right at me and then went by everybody else and came right to me...Bobby's got pictures of that..Must be the Irish thing, since we're both Irish and he probably spotted the blue eyes and red hair...Bobby refered to him as either my other Boyfriend or my irishman.
Thursday: camped on 11 all day...saw the only hole in one up close and personal, got sunburned really bad...my ears are pealing today..that really hurts! After Tiger went through we jumped in the car and came home to finish watching it on tv, but found out on the way home we had no power!!! We heard all the places that it was out in the car once we found a radio station that would come in.
Friday: Camped on 11 again, Tiger came through early and made a great putt and i yelled go get em Tiger and he looked right at me a smiled (I wonder if he and Billy disgusts the crazy red head on 11) watched everybody come through as soon as Billy came through, ran home to finish watching it on tv.
Saturday: Camped again on 11...had the little incident on 11 with Billy..what a sweetheart...he was the second to last group so we ran home to finish watching on tv...you actually don't see much golf when your there cuz if you try to follow anybody your not going to see anything.
Sunday: bobby woke up at 4:45 came in the livingromm. I couldn't hardly get off the couch. My head was pounding so hard and my shoulder was hurting so much..I definately got sun poisoning..just felt crappy! So we decided to sttay home and watch it on tv!
There you go...I didn't stalk Tiger...got heard on National TV..and just had a great time..as soon as I get pictures developed, will post some!
