Red Sox place Castillo on DL, recall Ohka
TORONTO (AP) -- The Boston Red Sox placed right-hander Frank Castillo on the 15-day disabled list on Friday with a strained muscle in his back.
Castillo left Thursday's game in the second inning with a strained right latissumus dorsi muscle. Castillo is 7-5 with a 4.35 ERA.
Right-hander Tomo Ohka has been recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket to take Castillo's place.
