This is definitely going to be a throwback to the days when Will Clark would kick over things in the lockerroom after a loss -- John Rocker and Carl Everitt.

Will be interesting to see how much tolerance is displayed by the fans in Dallas who scream against intolerance :argue:

It will definitely be interesting to watch Rocker and Everett on the same team.

There's almost one person from every group now in the Rangers' clubhouse from when Rocker insulted just about everyone in SI a few years ago.

I think that Everett will have the most productive year of the 3....

I think we are going to see the Everett of old who started out with the Astros -- he is due for a big season. All this todo about him not getting along in Boston -- a bunch of people havent gotten along in Boston including Roger Clements

I think Everett will have a big year too.

In the Rangers' lineup, he is under no pressure whatsoever. In Boston, he was forced to carry the load with Ramirez when Garciaparra went down.

Will Everett hit #2 or #6 in the Rangers' lineup? 3-4-5 will be Pudge, AROD, and Palmeiro probably. I think I would put Everett down at sixth. He gives you more out of the sixth spot than he does batting second.

Sounds good to me -- barring any further trades etc I would go with a lineup of

LF Catalatano
RF Kapler
SS A Rodriguez
1B Palmeiro
C I Rodriguez
CF Wright
DH Pena
3B Lamb
2B Young

I have no idea why I listed Wright in CF in the above post - must have been thinking of former pitcher Clyde Wright

CF belongs to Everett

Tried to edit it but was not allowed to:angel2:

LoL...I was wondering when I read the 1st post where Everett was:biggrin:
You should be able to edit anything you do...I'll go in and take a look at it for you...

You should be able to edit....I see nothing wrong with your ability to do so...Make sure when editing though, that you use the "edit" on the bottom of the post and not the top...The top one is for the post before yours...If that makes any sense at all:biggrin:
Let me know if there is still a problem....

That's a pretty darn good lineup, even down to numbers #7 and #8. Lamb is good for about 15 homers, which is pretty productive from the eighth spot. And Pena is a stud.
