Prior Pitches Alright

not a very good game for prior tonight. gave up like 9 or 10 hits and 3 runs in 7 innings. so disappointing. :cry: but i guess a win is a win. :)

but 8 runs is definitely a good thing. nice job by remlinger in the 9th.

It's a good thing when you can say Prior pitched "alright" after giving up 3 runs through 7(still a quality start).

I only saw the first couple innings. It was 3-0 when I left but they were hittin Kinney pretty good.

We're on a role now. I mean, it is the Brewers, but we have struggled with them in the past. The Cubbies got a lot of momentum goin their way now!!

Oh, prior had great stuff mechanically last night, but he started tiring when he started trying to nibble corners.

he admitted he was awful, mentally.

It was enough for the win. Pitchers go through this kind of thing, I suppose. I'm sure he'll bounce back and more success next time out.
