Tommy Maddox still has to learn to pump fake. He wasn't all that great today.

It was great to see Bettis doing well. I've been thinking this all along...any time we have a decent lead after the half. PUT IN BETTIS and RUN, RUN, RUN! It's called clock management! We used to be good at it!

It was awesome to see Joey get that sack! :D

This game could have been uglier. We dominated.

I have a much better feeling about this team now going into next week against the Titties...

On a side note, the O-line was much improved today...hopefully that wasn't just because we were playing the Bungles.

The sack by Porter would have actually been Kendrell's sack. Apparently, Porter was only in on the play to give kendrell a rest, but Bell told Joey how to beat the guy to the QB. At least that is what Timmy lewis was saying after the game.

Maddox has still not impressed me too much this season. I have seen hiom on several occasions either get too much, or not enough air under the ball on long pass plays. He has also had WAY too many passes batted down at the LOS.

Where's the play action?? I actually saw a little bit more of it today than in the past 2 weeks, and it was effective every time they tried it. Hopefully with the emergence of the running game, that will help with the play action.

You're right, Dan, Clock management today was beetter than what it has been in quite some time. Just like we talked about last week. They even seemed to go with a shorter passing game today in order to keep the clock moving.

All in all, I found it to be a rather dull game. But i iwll take a dull win any day.

Exactly. Remember how we won 13 games two years ago? :)

Yup. I definitely DO remember.

I wonder if Amos will remain the starter going into next week. :notme:

I wouldn't mind seeing Amos start..and if we can get use the "explosive" O to get out to a big lead...then put in the Bus, and widdle away at the clock.

That's how I think we should handle it.
