TAILGATING: The New York Mets would like to discourage tailgating in the Shea Stadium parking lots for the upcoming Bruce Springsteen concerts. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is NOT permitted in the Shea Stadium parking lots and the New York Police Department will be enforcing this policy. Open flames are also not permitted.
GETTING TO SHEA STADIUM
If you are heading out to Shea Stadium for the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band concerts we encourage you to take mass transit. The Long Island Railroad will make stops at Shea specifically for these shows. Please see below for more information.

There will be a total of 67 handicapped parking spaces at Shea Stadium.

Pre-paid area by the Executive Offices - 11 handicap spots
Pepsi Picnic area in centerfield - 4 handicap spots
Ask the attendant at the parking entrance for directions to these handicapped parking spaces.
.: AUTOMOBILE TROUBLE
The Automobile Club of New York (AAA) provides free emergency services to motorists in the Shea Stadium parking areas on game days. These services include recharging drained batteries, changing flat tires, and towing to AAA affiliated stations. Motorists may also request towing to non-affiliated stations for the standard commercial rate.
If you need assistance the night of one of the concerts please call the Command Post at x3100 from a house phone, call (718) 559-3100 from an outside line or ask a Mets employee or Police Officer for assistance.

Services Shea Stadium at the Willets Point / Shea Stadium station and makes stops at Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Grand Central Station in Manhattan

The New York Waterway Shea Express transports fans via ferry service to and from World's Fair Marina (7-minute walk to Shea). Round-trip fares for the Bruce Springsteen concert is $25. Please see below for concert schedule.
