Tonight will mark my debut as an executive producer on a television show. The show is called Sports Unabridged, but alas is only viewable on Buckeye TV here in Columbus (sorry to all who wanted to see it). It's a campus television network, only available on campus (meaning I can't even watch the show at home :hmm: )

The show is like Around The Horn or PTI. We have two hosts who just go back and forth about popular sports topics. We have a small crew, so I double as Head of research. It should be loads of fun.

Very cool, Special K :clap2:

What are the topics for tonight's debut that will no doubt serve as a springboard to your eventual Emmy-winning career? Maybe we can be your test audience, sort of like we're a bunch of monkeys with those electrode things on our heads and you feed us bananas and sports topics then measure to see which one produced the desired audience response.

Example: You give me a banana and say "Jimy Williams" at the same time, and I respond more to the banana :freak:

We can tape it so we can actually watch and point out things the hosts need to work on amongst other things.

The basic rundown of the show is an Ohio State topic, followed by 2 Ohio topics, since it is viewed by largely Ohioians (even though our hosts are from Chicago and and Denver), then 5 national topics. After that is a commercial, followed by 4 face-offs where the hosts will take opposite sides and argue on it. Then another commercial and then the final segment varies form show to show. Tonight the hosts will each come up with a winner and loser from the past week and then a little sports word association.

Tonight's topics include the following: OSU's biggest threat in the Big 10, the same old Bengals, the Brown's impressive victory last night, the A's failure at clinching playoffs, Dante Hall's record, the winless teams in the NFL, is Kobe a distraction to his teammates, and if the Cubbies have a shot.

The faceoffs are Indy vs Tamp Bay, Pedro vs Zito, McNabb vs Limbaugh, and Marlins vs. Cubs.
