good lord, this is too stressful!!
cubs up 4-3 after simon belts a 2 run homer, getting woody off the hook.

i had to turn it off in the ninth. too pissed off. plus my dad was in bed and i knew if i stayed up to watch we'd lose.
i saw the results in the paper when i woke up and YAY!!! :clap2: that woulda been brutal if we lost that.

I think that Baker should have pulled Prior earlier Wednesday, that way he could have pitched on Sunday. I guess it really doesn't matter, though. I think that if the Cubs win today, then they should clinch the series. Prior should start game 6, and Wood should start 7, I think it is highly unlikely that the Marlins would beat both of them back to back. I am hoping the Cubs can pull it out.

No matter what happens, Prior and wood go games 6 and 7. Dusty will not pitch a starter on short rest. even if prior only threw 100 pitches, it would still be short rest.

I checked on it in the 11th and saw the Cubs had scored 1 run, but nothing before or after.

immediately when aramis ropped that ball i thought "Leon Durham." But the Casillo ran right into that lastout. Wha a great game. Wood wasnt dominant, but he was good enough. You cant be so dominant every time out.
