this has been one of the best postseason baseball i have ever seen..... i grew to really love and respect the team...... you had so many of us here rooting for you.... i wish the outcome had been different, but i'm still so proud of you and how far you've come..... if nothing else, i've never seen the other team *sweat* so much :D you never gave up......

I'm with Cyn here. I'd always liked the Sox, but during this past season, I've come to LOVE the Sox. They are a great bunch of guys who never once quit, regardless of how bad things might have looked and, unlike a certain team who will be in the World Series, they never wasted time whining or crying. I have nothing but respect and admiration for them.

I know Bostonians want someone to "pay" for this, but please don't let it be Wakefield. He'd done so much for the team during this post-season and really doesn't deserve to be the goat.
