We may not be a .500 team next year. Too many guys had career years this year. That can't be duplicated.:(
We're losing a ton of guys.
Tek, Lowe, Pedro and Nomah are in their last year. I doubt we can afford to keep any of them.
Walker and Timlin, and Burkie are gone now. We need Walker and Timlin. We can't afford them.
The dream is over.

I dont know PP I think (I am always wrong) But talking to a friend I think all the rumors going around about the Mets and Man Ram might be more to it. The Mets have some money and they might want to get Man Ram and I see them trying to move Piazza. Nice fit for the Sox. He wants to catch a bit and move him around at 1st, C, and DH. Getting rid of Man Ram could be huge. Letting Pedro go will free up some money also. (I would let him go) I dont see Nomar going anywhere. I think he will be a life long Sox and with your new GM he will want to keep Nomar. (Hometown deal?) Todd Walker just wants a place to play. He signed a great deal with the Rox to just stay and play with them. They pooped on him and traded him for a nobody.(The great trade of Alex Ochoa for Todd Walker) But I see him loving Boston and Boston loving him after this post season and I dont see him going anywhere. He just wants someone to love him....
I dont know I think the Sox are going to be fine and looking at what the Yanks are going to lose and such I so far am picking the Sox for the AL East.

I would love Manny to leave, but please, I have ZERO interest in Piazza.
If Manny could be moved, you'd have a shot at it.

If the Mets are going to sign Tejada. So I dont think they want to waste time of rebuilding they are going to try to rebuild right now. So I see them trying for a big bat. That is why I think Man Ram is going there.
There is a wild card out there also. Guerrero is a FA and I dont see him going to NY because he has said he dont really like it there. Take Pedros money and sign Guerrero and there could be some new tunes going on in Bean town.

WHY?!?!? I think Mike would make a great fit in Bean Town. He could DH and with the short LF and how he hits!!!! He would hit as many HR as Man Ram and he is much more of a team player also.

He wanted to say in Colorado also. He signed a 3 year 3 or 4 mill deal I think because he wanted to say. I think he is a team player. He knows he is good and if he plays like he can he will be paid good. He isnt going to be a guy that is going to try to milk all he can out. He just wants to have some good jack and a team that wants him..
I would see him signing a 4 or 5 year deal for 6 mil or some where around that.

Piazza is a 10-and-5 man and can go anyplace he wants. I can't think that Boston has any blue chip prospects to trade in exchange.
BTW, we don't want Manny. He's a great hitter, but Shea is not a hitter's ballpark and he's a defensive liability. The Mets have made a point of saying they want to get younger and more athletic. Manny is not getting any younger, and he's not exactly athletic (as in nimble or quick).
And let us not forget that he has a severe attitude problem. If he doesn't like the Boston media, he'll hate the NY media too.

We may not be the best team next year (D-UH) but i still think their can be a way to win a world series!
If the yanks aren't their, or if Little is out or replaced with a good coach!(Alou)
