The Reds want out from Griffey, so my question to Tigertown is would you embrace a deal that brought the talent, but oft-injured CF to Comerica Park? (It's not like he would agree to such a deal, but it's the off-season and we may as well discuss something.)
Jen, cover your eyes for a minute, if a deal for Griffey sent Higgy to Ohio (again, something that would not happen), I might being willing to do it.

He's injured too much, I don't want him.

I guess if you want to make this team worse than what it was last year and loose a lot of great young talent, then I guess gett Griffey is a no brainer. I porsnally think you would have to give more than just Higgy for Griffy.

The Tigers would have to bench him everytime they played Minny in the Dome. The astroturf is hungry for him.

L22, the problem with giving up all that good young talent the Tigers have is trying to find it. And, yes, the Tigers would have to give up more than Higgy, but most of us want his contract gone, so I would start any deal with him. (Again, sorry, Jen.)
