Ok, I believe Jac and Milky have seen this before but I did change a few words.

One Two Nightmare's pitching to you
Three Four he went and blew game four
Five Six better trade him quick
Seven Eight cuz it's him that Yankee fans hate
Nine Ten Please don't ever let him pitch again!
:D
Thank you Thank you!
:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Nightmare, would that be the nickname for Jeff Weaver :umm
Just watch, the Yankees will trade him away during the off season and he'll have a hell of a career

When did Weaver suck in Detroit? I believe he was quite successful for a while...

He was. At the time, everyone thought the Yankees were taking advantage of Detroit's and Oakland's poverty by getting him for the bargain-basement price of Ted Lilly and a minor-leaguer whom no one had ever heard of.
Granted, Weaver and the Yankees are in the WS and Lilly and the A's are at home watching like the rest of us, but I still think the A's got the better end of this deal.
There was a big article a while back about Weaver and his poor judgment in choosing friends. It said that, instead of latching on to a good guy like Pettitte, he chose to hang out with Wells instead. This didn't surprise me at all, given the stories about the stunts he pulled while with Detroit. He is expected to act more like a grown-up, but he still has the frat-boy mentality. That just won't cut it.

Exactly Juls....and I called that one when we got him...NO WAY they should have let Lily go for him...the A's definately got the best of that deal.
And I'm willing to bet that George will get rid of him..whether by trade or whatever...NY papers went nuts the day after cuz even they knew he shouldn't have been brought into the game.

Look, let's face it. George dumped Lilly because he was embarrased during a loss to the Mets (the catcher who got burned in that same game was released THE VERY NEXT DAY!). To his warped mind, the player he got in trade, REGARDLESS OF WHO HE WAS, was automatically an improvement to someone who was humilated by the lowly Mets. That's just the way his mind works, and once we understand that, nothing he does will surprise us.
George has a habit of making Cashman trade players who, for whatever reason, have landed on his $hit list. And the results often prove that haste makes waste. This is certainly the case here.

Well..if that's the case...God willing Nightmare is on George's shit list!!!!

Actually, everything I've heard suggests that Weaver was one of "Cashman's guys," meaning that Weaver was one of the few players that CASHMAN, not George, traded for.
Remember that when Lilly was here, he was arm-surgery waiting to happen. It wasn't until Rick Peterson got his hands on him that he changed his delivery. The Lilly that was a Yankee was a #4 pitcher, #3 if he reached his potential. Nothing to get very excited about.
Weaver, in Detroit, was a "soon-to-be-Ace." At the time, I thought the trade was gonna be great. Obviously, Weaver has been anything but.
Right now it looks like the A's did get the best end of the deal. They ended up with Lilly and Durazo. The minor leaguers that the Yanks sent away are in Toronto now, if I remember correctly.
But who knows what happens. Lilly has said that he wants to leave the A's, and if Weaver pans out or is part of a trade for another player, the Yanks may still save face.

Even if he was an ace I wouldn't want him on my team and here's why. Mr.Wonderful (dripping with sarcasm :barf: ) has a HUGE attitude problem! You don't need that kinda BS on a team.
