With the World Series over, the Tigers 2004 season begins at midnight. Now players can file for free agency, teams will start non-tendering guys, others will get traded and new announcements can be made.
So, I figure we can start about a 100 day countdown to see what, if anything, the Tigers can do to upgrade this team starting with Sunday, October 26. The 100 days ends February 2, if my usually poor math is close to correct. By then we will be very close to pitchers and catchers reporting to Lakeland and the team, in all likelihood, will be set.
Ok, Mr. I, Denise and Dombrowski, you've got about 100 days to give us some hope for 2004, get busy and good luck.
