Yanks to open Spring Training schedule March 4

The 26-time World Champion New York Yankees will open their 31-game 2004 spring-training schedule on Thursday, March 4th at 1:05 p.m. vs. the Philadelphia Phillies in Clearwater. They will open a 16-game home schedule on Friday, March 5th at 1:15 p.m. at Legends Field in Tampa.

The Yankees' home schedule will include 16 games (8 day/8 night) at Legends Field against 12 opponents, including three AL East rivals: the Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Toronto Blue Jays.

Season tickets for the Yankees' complete home exhibition schedule are on sale now at the Legends Field Ticket Office while individual-game tickets will go on sale there in January. For ticket information, call 813-879-2244.
