Going Out With Cyn...

.... and you end up having a drink with Cal Ripken... or a Cal Ripken lookalike.

So we were at Scruffy's to watch the game, it was crowded, no place to sit, people cheering Gang Green... (but also some Raider fans there), and Cyn asks these guys if we can sit with them at their table... but that's another story. After they left (but there definitely is another story involving them), we notice a guy with a big ol' "Ripken 8" t-shirt on. And I go all wide-eyed... "Oh, look! An Orioles fan!" Before I can blink, Cyn is asking this guy if I can buy him a drink because I'm a huge Cal Ripken fan, and he's going all embarrassed because he says he's not an O's fan, but his friends bought him that shirt because he resembles Cal Ripken (he does), and then he buys us a drink, and it turns out he's a Mets fan (fancy that!!! :uhoh:), his name is Steve, and the next thing I know, Cyn has disappeared and I'm sitting talking to the pseudo-Cal, and then he leaves, and I'm wondering where Cyn is, and she appears, and we finish our drinks, (bought by Cal).... all in all, even though the Jets lost, it was a fun evening. (And I'm not even getting into the details of Brad and Dan (:uhoh: )... (over to you, Cyn!):biggrin:

(too bad my Jets lost :hmm: *sigh*...oh well) ........yeah well, we sat by dan-from-cincinnati and brad-from-florida and brad asked me to dinner and he's kinda cute, he snowboards and he's a Taurus!:uhoh: oh, and the lines he had!! Moe, you woulda loved 'em!! they were hilarious and they worked!:P

jesse, in the 10 years since i had my first alcoholic beverage, I believe that I have puked ONCE.. and I think that was more because of the chinese food I ate.

jesse! i totally agree with you!! i'm not a big drinker myself..... honestly, i prefer NOT to drink and can have just as much fun (well, more:biggrin: ) when i DON'T drink...... i really don't need a beer or a shot of tequila to end up dancing on the table throwing my bra on the wall, i can do that SOBER!:biggrin: :biggrin:

i love water...... to tell you the truth, i'm kinda disappointed in myself for drinking the 3 heinekens that i drank tonight (that's alot for me).... geez, all this work detoxing my body and i let a little peer pressure get me:hmm: *sigh*....now i have to do extra work to get this crap outta my bod:angry: :hmm:
