Okay, since life is pretty boring around O-Ville these days...... (I'd like a little action, please, out of our two-headed GM... ::wait: :sigh: :wait: :sigh: )....... here's a little tidbit about a guy who ran naked up to Cal's house. :eek: (He was kidnapped and stripped and shot! :eek: )

When's Vlad coming to town? After the Sox, the O's are my next favorite team since I live only an hour south of Baltimore. I try to catch as many summer games as Camden yards as I can and I've always liekd Vlady, so what's the word? Any chance of Tejada too??

I wish I could tell you those big deals have been made, but nothing...... and I mean nothing appears to be going on. :( All the other teams are making moves. Rumors flying around that the O's were going for Derek Lee, or Sexson, now both those guys have gone somewhere else.

:sigh:

I just want something to happen. It's so quiet in O-Ville. :(

Weren't the O's supposed to be spending money this offseason? Have the O's even been linked with anyone in the last week, Nan? The two headed GM(Beattagan- see, I actually read your forum :D ) seems to be resting after getting Maz.

I'm getting slightly perturbed. I feel the hand of Angelos, once again waving the "Yes, I know we have the money, but be very, very careful" flag around Beattagan. :sigh: I keep thinking there's going to be a flurry of activity. :hmm:

Beattie was out of town for the weekend. He wanted to spend the holiday with his family.

On Tuesday of this past week it was rumored that the agent for Vladimir Guererro and Miguel Tejada was seen at the Warehouse at Camden Yards. This is just second hand information, but if true could mean that the holiday weekend was spent setting up offers for either/both of them. (On a side note, their agent is also Rafael Palmeiro's agent, which could be bad news).
