This is a thread for people with football questions that you want to know or just goffy things to point out. If you want to answer one or ask one just keep on posting down.

* Was Jake Jake Plummer worth it?
* Who starts next year for the Bengles? Jon Kitna or Carson
Palmer? Go with the winning QB or the QB that you are paying
all that money to and the future?
* Does Kurt Warner stay with the Rams and backup?
* Where does Steve Spurrier coach next year?
* Which coachs will get fired this year?
* Who is looking like a first round draft pick?

1. yes b/c even if they miss the playoffs, Snake is better than Griese

2. Kitna, but the minute he struggles, it's Palmer's ball

3. No, an all-pro deserves to start and will be next year. there are plenty of teams who need him

4.one last hurrah --ugh-- with my Skins. Snyder's paying him too much to let him sink back to the swamp

5. Haslett and Fassel both need to go. Marty might not be safe in San Diego either.

6. Larry Fitzgerald is the real deal but he may or may not leave school for the draft. Same with Kevin Jones. Eli Manning will be a starting QB in the NFL before long - it runs in the family. And Roy Williams from Texas should be a good pro, the same for most of Oklahoma's defense.

1. Right now I think Jake's done well, better then I thought, if he's healthy next year, the Broncos should make the playoffs and still could make it this year.

2. Kitna, he's just done so well, and he may be driven by the fact that Palmer is on the bench.

3. No, he will go to another team.

4. I think he's still with the Skins next year, he said when he was hired that if a coach can't do it in three seasons, he shouldnt be the coach the fourth year. So my guess is they keep him around

5. Coaches that should be fired:
Butch Davis
Bill Callahan
Marty Schottenheimer
Jim Fassel
Dan Reeves

6. Wouldnt know, but the Chargers should have a top 5 pick or possibly number one so I'd like to find out.

ooh, Callahan, good one, i agree.

davis seems alright though. after all, he's in cleveland. could come around next year, and they did make the playoffs last year

* Was Jake Jake Plummer worth it?
I think so, though he missed a good portion of this year. Hes been 10x more productive than Griese.

* Who starts next year for the Bengles? Jon Kitna or Carson
Palmer? Go with the winning QB or the QB that you are paying
all that money to and the future?
I say go with whos hot. And right now, Kitna finally has some productive wide outs. This would have been a good year for Palmer to be the starter, IF they werent playing this well.

* Does Kurt Warner stay with the Rams and backup?
I feel that Warner has no more influence on the Rams. He needs a new team. I say he opts out next year. He can probably jump start another team thats struggling to throw the ball, like Baltimore. The Rams will also save alot of cap room.

* Where does Steve Spurrier coach next year?
He stays, I say the Skins have spent too much efford and money on Spurrier to let him go in 2 years. Look at Rick Pitino. :notme:

* Which coachs will get fired this year?
Gregg Williams - Buffalo Bills
Bill Callahan - Oakland Raiders
Bill Cowher - Pittsburgh Steelers (Sorry Dan..:()

* Who is looking like a first round draft pick?
:notme: I dont watch college football.

hmm. lined up across from #84 in the twin cities? hasnt been the same since Cris Carter left, has it Durango?

he'll be back in the NFL, but not in tampa, and certainly not new york. other than that, i cant say at this point b/c im unsure of who could use a receiver while at the same time stomach the ego. (which effectively rules out san francisco too)

I would say yes it never has been the same since Carter left but I dont think it has to do that much with Carter I feel it has more to do with the Offensve line and Robert Smith more than Carter. Smith quit and 4 of the 5 O-Line men left and then one died. I think that had a bigger part of it but Carter helped on the blitz because he knew it was coming and would help out the QB.

As for Me-Shawn I dont know if I would like to see him on the field for the Vikings. But one thing is for sure Tice would knock his butt out if he talked to him like he talked to Chucky.:bash:

Sorry cxlx I just picked yours out of them all. I dont like Griese or Plummer so I dont think Plummer is worth the money because I think he is the same kind of QB that Griese is just that Plummer is more of the team guy.

But after 13 games the Broncos have the same record as last year 7-5. And stats have Griese 2002 ahead of Plummer 2003. Both missed games in both seasons. Just to say Griese and Plummer are the same QB and not worth what they are getting paid.

Callahan and Shottenheimer are both gone, no question. Reeves will almost certainly be gone. I tell you who should be fired but won't be . . . Mike Sherman. What the heck is going on in Green Bay?

Cowher will probably never be fired. I don't know whether or not that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Oh, and that guy who coaches the Bills chances are slim and none . . . and slim may have just left town when all the players started complaining that he is running the offense the wrong way.

Honestly, I never had a chance to watch Griese in action the last few years. I get to watch alot of Plummer this year, cuz hes under the microscope. However, I did get a chance to see Griese play a few times for Miami, and I think that its safe to say, Plummer is ALOT better than Griese this year. So I guess I cant really say if hes worth it or not. :notme: Cuz I really have nothing to compare him too. :(

I just picked yours cxlx because you put a number to your post. Thats it no other reason. Watch Plummer this year and you have seen what Griese looked like for the broncos also.
