MY dad keeps telling me this.. Lakers are forever Celtics ahve always been around Rockets have 1 of the worst organizations ever created whoever goes their becomes garbage...
Rice, Pippen, Drexler, Barkley...
Bulls are temporary....
Lakers have always been some of the best always very high up their I mean they look their 4 peat and they go out and get 2 of the top players that have stepped on the court that is amazing...
Great coach great management... I do miss Jerry West tho...
we still kill his team all the time:eviltongu

First of all, there was no 4 peat for the Lakers.
Secondly, although its starting to look like the Bulls are temporary, theyre headed in the right direction. And the Bulls were no slouch before their championship years either. Theyve had winning seasons in 50% of their seasons and they had 4 50+ win seasons back when MJ wasnt even in high school yet.
Third, Pippen averaged 15 points in Houston, Barkley averaged about 16 probly, Drexler averaged about 20, and Rice is a bum. And Ming, Mobley, Francis, and Taylor are garbage? And Olajuwon was garbage? And Cassel was garbage? Im sorry I just dont agree here.

oh no tony im nopt arguing with you here. Im just saying I dont think the Rockets are necessarily garbage. They won 2 straight champs in the mid 90s and now with their core they have a good young rising team.
Ya im talkin consistency what teams have been consistent all their years??
#1 Lakers after that what is their?
ahh this is tony accidently on georges sorry!

well, then yea, the lakers have been the most consistent team. I wont argue with you there. I just wanted to dispute a few of your other points.

I agree that LA is the NBA's most consistent team. It's between LA and Boston, and there would have been an argument for Boston if it wasn't for the Celts' god-awful 90s.
If you look at Boston, other than the horrible 90s, they've had only 7 seasons with sub-.500 records (4 of which were the franchise's first 4). Counting the 90s, they've had 15 (8-striaght between 94-01).
The Lakers, however, have had 11 seasons with sub-.500 records, none of which have come in stretches larger than 6 seasons (56-61).
Celts' all-time winning % -- .612
Lakers' all-time winning % -- .619
Of course the Celtics have the edge in rings (LA's right behind them in that too), but in terms of consistency it has to be LA.
A good debate would be for the third team. Philly? New York? :notme:
