The Mets have nothing to offer. Unless, Theo wants to unload some salary. Thats about $15+ million.

Mets have some pretty talented minor leaguers if the Sox were looking for some good future talent...
I know the Mets are really looking into getting Jose Guillen for another OF slot...
If so, they would have Floyd, Timo, Cedeno and Guillen unless they were to try and get rid of Timo and or Cedeno as part of a deal for Damon...

It's well known that Theo wants to unload Damon's contract, and Trot will be shopped because he's a FA after this season. I'd be happy get some young talent. We gave up prospects for Schilling, and we'll give up more prospects if an A-Rod trade is worked out. Theo believes in a strong farm system.

If they do this, then it means they will sign Mike Cameron.

They want to do this, I doubt they can, unless the Mets really have some juicy minor league talent.

The Mets have an excellent farm system. I heard someone this morning say that the Mets' system is currently ranked #5.
Check out kids like Scott Kazmir, David Wright, Victor Diaz, Craig Brazell, Justin Huber, Mike Jacobs and Bob Keppel, among others.

Ugh. I hope this does not happen. I think it would be hard for the Bosox to fill the leadoff spot with someone experienced if Johnny Damon was to go to the Mets.
