I dont think its going to be a huge storm. This is what I got:

This afternoon. Mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries. Highs in the mid 30s. Northwest winds around 10 mph.

Tonight. Becoming partly cloudy by early in the evening. Cold with lows 18 to 23. Light northwest winds becoming north late in the evening and increasing to 10 mph.

Friday. Partly sunny in the morning. Then becoming cloudy. Continued cold with highs in the lower 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Friday night. Cloudy with a chance of snow. Lows in the mid 20s. Chance of snow 40 percent.

Saturday. Snow likely. Breezy. Highs in the mid 30s. Chance of snow 60 percent.

Saturday night. Cloudy with a chance of snow. Windy. Lows in the mid 20s. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Sunday. A chance of snow. Otherwise partly cloudy. Windy. Highs in the mid 30s.

Looks like this storm will be medium. About a foot or so.

They told us here in NY that it would be too warm in the City itself for much accumulation and that it would be mostly rain.

Well, they were wrong. Flat-out wrong. It's been snowing pretty heavily since around 10 this morning, and the snow is higher than we had been led to expect.

It's STILL coming down, but at least we can see across the street! ;)

I don't know if today's greater-than-expected accumulation means that it'll be out of here sooner than they originally said or that it means it's going to be worse than they originally said.

Regardless, I have to work tomorrow -- I need to be here at 9am.

Good thing the subway won't be crowded!

NYC is gonna end up around a foot or so of snow.

Boston on the other hand, will see snow for awhile tonight...then more heavy snow on Saturday night into Sunday.

Looks like you guys will prolly be around the foot range or so...with areas of higher totals, probably in higher areas like Worcster and such...

I would have told you about this earlier, but, we'll I haven't been around here much...

It hasn't stopped here yet, and it's supposed to continue through Sunday morning, with a 6-8 hour period of heavy snow tomorrow.

Ick.

We only got about five inches last night. However, the local weatherguys say we're in the lull between storm storms now and will be getting another foot as storm number 2 picks up steam today and tonight.

Central Park already had 8 inches when I left home at 9 this morning. It wasn't coming down too hard at that point, but I've been here at work and there have been times when we couldn't see across the street. They said last night that we could have up to 1 inch an hour between 10 and 5 today.
