We cancelled it yesterday. DAMMIT. Every time I plan to ride with the boys from Woostah, crappy weather rolls in. Oh well....snowed in this weekend with 20 bottles of beer and two bottles of wine. Can't really complain about that. :)

Alomar also?! LMAO! I don't think so. We got some managament problems if we brought in Alomar because A-Rod WANTED him there also. :hmm:

I just hope with the signing of A-Rod (if it does happen) that it won't hurt with the re-signings of our players next year like Pedro, etc. That huge contract better not leave the team completely dry and strapped for cash, because I'll be irritate if I see Pedro in a Yankees uniform because we couldn't afford to re-sign him. :angry:

Bob, ask any Mets or White Sox fan. They'll tell you. Alomar SUCKS. He BLOWS. He sucks AND blows. He is godawful.

He has a lead glove these days, is no longer a threat on the basepaths, can't hit right-handed to save his life and, on top of it all, has an absolutely horrible attitude. He's a cancer. He's sullen and surly, and goes home to Cleveland at every opportunity.

There's a reason that a Hall of Famer has been on 6 teams in his career. To know him is to dislike him. There's a reason Jose Reyes started playing better when Alomar left. Alomar was believed to be a bad influence on an impressionable kid.

Apparently, John Henry is going to meet with A-Rod and Moorad this week to discuss restructuring A-Rod's contract. Obviously they are open to a restructuring or they would not be meeting. Hmmmmmmm..........
