According to an L.A. Times sports writer:
"He is Alex Rodriguez without the charm, overpaid and under-exploited, an October player whose mere presence makes it difficult for his team to survive September."
– Los Angeles Times columnist Bill Plaschke on RHP Kevin Brown being open to a trade. Plaschke's in favor of dealing the high-priced arm.

Plus, he's 39! And is injured more than he pitches. I can't believe the Yanks paid for this stiff. Ridiculous!:clap2:

he isnt going to help the yankees all that much i dont think. he will probably end up in the tub.
but then again, i dont think his salary is going to really concern them all that much. lol

This would be a STEAL for LA. They'd get to dump $15 mill, get cash, and Prospects, and dump a cancer.

I dont think Brown is a cancer but he will help out the Yanks a ton.
That is in April and half of May then he will be done for the season. This guy is hurt and hasnt put in a full season for a few years now. I would if I was a manager of Brown to think of a move to the pen where starting isnt waring on him all the time.

I'm not impressed one bit. Like everyone else has stated already, he's old and he is prone to get injured all too often. The Red Sox still have a better pitching rotation. :D
