The AROD deal is DEAD. John Henry basically told Hicks to eff off after Hicks wanted the Sox to pay 31 million towards Manny's salary.
So now what? GET MOVING THEO!

I say go get Tejada. I don't really like him, but you know Nomah is gonna be an ass all year because of this circus.
His main priority now, should be to sign Nomar.

I doubt Nomah would re-sign now. It's clear he wasn't wanted.
Out of all this, I really feel bad for Nomar. :(

Tejada sucks. Time for Theo and the gang to re-sign Nomar. I want to see him retire in a Red Sox uniform.

If Hicks wants us to fork over $31 million, the hell with this. Fine, we'll keep Manny and keep Nomar to go with Curt Schilling. We don't NEED A-Rod.
As far as trading Nomar, I think we'll try to resign him. I think both sides are professional enough to not let one little bump in the road end Nomar's playing days here.

Nomah will NOT be re-signed. John Henry wants him gone. LA wants him bad. We are so screwed. We're stuck with Manny, have no SS, and Foulke is staying in Oakland.
