what kind of shampoo do you use? do you have a favorite?? what smell do you like the best?

i love Clairol Herbal Essence Shampoo, i love the way it smells:)

i also use Suave when i don't feel like spending alot...... and then there's one brand i got in california.... it was pricey but it was good stuff.... do you remember it moe??

i also love the smell of Agree, but i never see it anymore... plus it made my hair very dry......

miss kathleen, what type of shampoo do YOU use??:fro:

what's the kind they always use in salons?? it always smells amazing...... another question (this is from left field): so brad e-mailed me and asked me to go for drinks later this week! yikes! so what do you all wise women think i should do?:) (sorry, i'm lame, i know):)

I think all of us wise women would say the exact same thing...go out with him for drinks. :) Have fun!!!

Herbal Essence does smell really good, but I don't like it for some reason. I only like the smell of it.

Hmmm..let's see..I have two types..the non-expensive type and the one that cost me a little more. The non-expensive type is that ThermaHeat one..but I'm thinking of changing it. The other one is the BEDHEAD Mango one..it smells yummy. :)

The type they use in the salons comes in those big economy sized bottles and it depends on which shampoo the stylist wants to use..some of thoes shampoos you can buy at a stylist's store or something...most of them have a berry smell to them..soooo good!

Cyn, did you buy the shampoo at the salon? If you did, then the brand of it is called AVEDA.

i have no money, so i go for the cheap stuff usually. i go with sauve cause it's good on my hair and they got a whole bunch of different scents which are all really nice. sometimes i forget the scented ones and go for the 2 in 1 conditioner, but i still use conditioner. the lil extra conditioning makes my hair really soft.

i think we'd all agree with moe on the brad thing. if anything, go for the free drinks :drinkin:

which scents to you like? i use aloe vera right now and i like it alot:)

so how's your hair these days? does the color look ok now?

bowling dates are so much fun. As long as I don't et the competitve part come out in me. It's ok if there is a group of us. But if it is just myself and my date... or even myself a date and her friend, then it's not the best idea, so I try to steer away from it.

i've neva tried the aloe one. i love the ocean breeze (which is also one of their nice body washes too). also love the purple one who's name i can't remember at the moment. i don't remember if it's them or a different kind that has the pear scent, but i love that one. oooh, and the kiwi thing too. at the moment i'm not using any of the scented ones. the hot water don't always last here, so i use the 2 in 1 just in case i have no time to condition.

bowling is always fun, especially tipsy bowling. don't wanna get too drunk too early in the date ;)

I really don't go into that whole " spend a lot on shampoo thing" I use Sauve sometimes. I actually started using Renewal5x it seems to be really good. Most of the time I use Pert Shampoo/conditioner in 1. My hair really doesn't like conditioner that much so I only can use a little bit, If I use to much it's way to soft and doesn't have any body to it. {{{ I know hard life I have}}}

BTW go out for drinks with the guy!!!!! have fun!!! get over what's his name!!!!!!

Well it seems we all like Sauve!
Cyn, have a great time with Brad. I bet you'll have a ball bowling! And you know we all will want details!!!

Cyn! Are you EVER going to PM me and tell me about the beautiful Brad? I'm waiting for the details!!!

AS for shampoos, I like Herbal Essence, although it never gave me any....you know.

I use Pantene, and I like some Nexus shampoos that my Mom gets. Suave, for such an inexpensive shampoo, is awesome. Better than a lot of the other brands around. Vidal Sasoon I wasn't so impressed with.

i used to love pantene back when i wasn't buying my own stuff :hmm: i always had the bestest hair, neva had split ends or anything. i loved it

Wow. Suave's really popular! I hope they don't catch on and raise their prices.:uhoh:

I use their Freesia... the shampoo and the conditioner. I am so pissed off at Bath and Body Works for discontinuing Freesia.. it's the one scent I really can use all the time and not feel like I'm drowning in a scent. So now I'm just using it on my hair.:) But Suave is great!!!

WOOOHOOOOO!!! Bowling with Brad!!! Well, at least you'll see what he's like sober! (I have a feeling he'll be as goofy as he was when he was tanked.... what a cutie!)

did you guys ever try White Rain?? that's another cheap shampoo that smells nice, but i think it leaves residue in your hair.....

Nanner, i neva heard of Freesia!!! now i'm curious to try it.......

wow, i didn't realize bowling dates were popular!

ok, to summarize the brad story (sorry i didn't keep all of you in the loop, but honestly it feels like it JUST happened!)

(btw kathleen, my "whats his face" still reads the board!! :uhoh: you made me laugh with that comment!) (i still adore him btw... and we're still friends)

anyways....fastforward..... i went to this very cool sports bar (Met bar too!l) this past saturday to catch the jets/raiders game....nanner came with:cool: we had a FANTASTIC time (nanner met a guy who looked like Cal Ripken!)

well, we ended up sitting with these 3 guys cuz there was just no room anywhere..... anyways, one of the guys was brad....

somehow we just started talking and then he bought me a drink and we were laughing and he was giving me the best corny lines that i had to laugh.... he was just really cute and didn't seem to care that he was being so goofy.....

so then he says "i'm liking that jets jersey on you"

his friend, dan, says "oh my god, was that a line?? that was so lame!"

and i say "oh no it wasn't! i love that line! it works for me!"

and brad says "but it wasn't a line!":ohno: "i really like the jets jersey on you" (btw, he's a Tampa Bay fan)

so we end up talking about football and he's all "oh my god, you know the spread... i think i love you...." (nan and i impressed them with our sports knowledge, hee hee)

he couldn't believe i knew stuff and that i liked football so much..... so then he says "omg we have got to go out.... will you have dinner with me?"

and i'm like "ok, sure why not?" and he's like "REALLY????"

and i'm like "btw, how old are you?" (expecting "oh, i'm 22" :hmm: with my luck!)

and he says "31" (he looks 25! and acts 17! my kinda guy!!!)

and i'm all :uhoh: (finally, someone in my neighborhood!)

and then "so what's your sign???"

and he says "Taurus" !!!! :uhoh:

so of course i'm like SURE I'LL GO OUT WITH YOU! (i get along great with taurus men!)

PURVA, i wouldn't say he was BEAUTIFUL-beautiful (he's not anywhere near drop-dead gorgeous like paul or anything) but he seems cute.... don't really know if he's my type (whatever that is)... hard to tell, but i liked his vibe, he seemed like alot of fun and i love that silly/goofy stuff.....

so he e-mailed me today and mentioned the bowling.... we'll probably get together this weekend...... he also mentioned in his e-mail that he was going to be away in february b/c he was shooting a commercial in L.A.!! (he's in advertising) ..... and he snowboards!

well, we'll see what happens..... i think i just wanna have fun... not really ready to do more than that at the moment...... hopefully we'll get along great and have a blast and just be silly....... it's been a tough couple of months for me, i'm long overdue for some FUN!!

i tried white rain. smelled nice, but just didn't leave my hair feeling clean so i got rid of it

brad sounds so cool. i love the guys that just like to goof around and have fun like a kid.

i've neva been on a bowling date. i'm not exactly a big bowling fan. not a fan of anything that causes me to break 3 nails... but i go a couple times a year. usually once with my family, and in that case, drinking is always a plus so when i get picked on, i couldn't care less ;)

oh.. and even though no one asked me (since i don't believe myself to be a lady) I use Tresemme shampoo... I use it because it has a cool, french sounding name.
