Has anyone heard any rumours that Kobe wants to be traded by the end of the year? I've heard numerous places such as San Antonio, Memphis, and LA Clippers.

Doesn't his contract run out after 2004? Or is it 2005? :notme:


I remember him saying that he wanted to leave LA, but I thought he wanted to sign elsewhere.

Can you imagine a combo of Kobe and Duncan in San Antonio?:eek:

LA and Memphis have good supporting casts for him to slide right into also.

Yea I was thinkin that. Kinda the newer version maybe. Hey Shaq's gettin older, Kobe needs a new big man!

Then throw Parker into the mix and thats one helluva team!

exacly what he said was he is gonna see other options in his contract.. Which he hasnt been able to do for a while that is all... He will see other things I think he will stay in LA

IMO, He wants out of LA because he doesnt get along with Shaq

He wants to play anywhere else as long as he is not on the same team as Shaq

If my memory serves me right, I think the whole thing about leaving LA started when Shaq and Kobe were having that media scuffle. Anyone remember? :umm

Yea it runs out after 2004. So he'd have to sign with another team.

Wonder if Pax would be able to work the magic to bring him into the backcourt with Kirk Hinrich. Hey if they don't bring back Crawford, and either Tyson or Eddy. Could be an even better backcourt if Jay Williams comes back healthy sometime next year.
