someone called me at 2:45am and woke me up

called my cell phone and only rang ONCE :angry: :hmm: it was a 917 number, didn't recognize it.... but i think it looks familiar.....

I still have nightmares from when I was an overnight I.S. on-call person. It was the worst feeling in the world when the phone would ring at 2:00 AM because I knew it meant there were problems at work and I had to fix them. :(

Luckily I don't do that anymore, but the thought still scares me.

Since it only rang once, they probably realized they had the wrong number. But it's definitely extremely annoying. :angry:

You could always call them back and ask them why the heck they were calling someone at 2:45 am. The time you choose to call them of course is your option. ;)

yeah, i thought about it being the wrong number..... but it looks familiar, i'm almost certain i've seen that number before.... i just can't place it right now............ well, it's my own darn fault for forgetting to turn off the cell phone before going to bed (i had the ringer set to super-loud too) :hmm:

I have a 917 cell but it wasn't me. I was snoozing at 2:45am :D

The funny thing is I have a "friend" who has a habit of calling my cell at ungodly hours (my favorite was the 5:00 am call and message wanting to know if I wanted to come over for a pool party....yea ok lemme just grab my bikini and run right over :hmm: ) BUT everytime he does it I never have my cell in my bedroom and it's usually always on my nightstand.....wierd.....
If your calling me at 4am you better be dying.

Been there and done that last year I had no choice but to suffer to be awaken by that non stop flasher every few minutes from my oldest son's ex-girlfriend's nutty mom who liked to call this house from midnight til seven am when her daughter was out. My hubby and I wanted to turn off the flasher but we couldn't because of my hubby's elderly mom who just turned 80 back in October.
