CINCINNATI -- Third baseman Aaron Boone agreed to a $2.1 million one-year contract with the Cincinnati Reds on Friday and outfielder Juan Encarnacion agreed to a $1.55 million, one-year deal.
Boone was limited to 103 games last season because of injuries but hit a career-high .294 with 14 home runs and 62 RBIs.
Encarnacion hit .242 with 12 home runs and 52 RBIs in 120 games for Detroit. He came to the Reds in a trade for Dmitri Young at baseball's winter meetings.
Pitcher Scott Williamson in the last Cincinnati player remaining in arbitration.
