I saw Travis last week

I completely forgot to tell y'all about me going to see Travis at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles last week.

Fantastic show and I had house seats (best in the house). Ben Stiller was sittimg right next to me!

If you've never seen Travis make the effort, incredible show.

OK, so they're Scottish, but i've never been the biggest Travis fan. I do like the first two albums, particularly The Man Who, but Invisible Band was very disappointing. They're playing Aberdeen next month, and it should sell out pretty soon.

Funnily enough I didn't buy "The Invisible Band" either, the track "Sing" is okay but there are big holes in the album as a whole. Having said that "12 Memories" looks like a fine release. The two singles are solid and I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of it.

They are very good live, I enjoyed their performance. The reception from the LA crowd must have been very gratifying for them....it was very enthusiastic.

Doesn't really surprise me. I still remember when they supported Oasis on their American tour in '99, and people were turning up to watch Travis, and then leaving. Still pretty popular.

Yeah, it was a catchy number. My personal favourites were Driftwood and Why Does It Always Rain On Me?
