Matty Alou did something that no other ML ballplayer ever did. What is it?

Does it have anything to do with nomenclature?

Yes it does.

Well, I don't think Felipe (Philip) is a biblical name, so perhaps he was the only player to have two relatives and himself with a biblical name, or himself, his brother, and his nephew with a biblical name, etc.
(EDIT: For a second I thought Moises was Jesus' son, not Felipe's. This can't be it, because Jesus would also qualify.)

Maybe he was the only MLB player ever named Alou to bat left handed?

Actually it's something he did with his brothers. (and no, it's not playing in the same OF.) Felipe didn't do it nor did Jesus, But Matty did.

Wild guess:
Hit a home run with a brother(s) on base?

It's something he did with 2 different brothers.

I'll drop the answer on this one a little later today if anyone wants to give it another shot.

It has nothing to do with a brother on base.

Only man to HR in the same game with 2 different brothers. Or, more clearly put, on 5-15-61 while w/SFG, Felipe Alou homered in the 1st inning off Chicago's Dick Ellsworth and Matty connected in the 8th off Joe Schaffernoth.
8-12-65 also w/SFG, Jesus homered in the 6th off Pittsburgh's Bob Friend and Matty connected in the 8th off Don Schwall.
